On Saturday a steady stream of people, many who had traveled from other cities, made a pilgrimage to Kirk’s Turning Point USA office and the mortuary where his body lay.

Amid rising concerns about political violence, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance are set to attend the memorial for political activist Charlie Kirk.

Preparations are underway for Charlie Kirk's public memorial Sunday. The State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., is expected to hold up to 70,000, and tough security measures are also expected to be in place.

While State Farm Stadium in Glendale was filled with thousands of attendees, many watched the service from the Desert Diamond Arena area. FOX 10's Lindsey Ragas and Kenzie Beach report.

Arizona is the adopted home state of Kirk, who grew up outside Chicago and founded Turning Point there before moving the organization to Phoenix.
